Features: This book is the third volume of the Integrated Reading Course for College English, designed for students taking the College English Level 3 exam. The third volume consists of ten units. Each unit is composed of six parts: text, vocabulary, notes, exercises, reading practice, and guided writing. All the texts are original materials, slightly edited. The selection of materials aims for diversity in topics and genres, rich and interesting content, and a certain degree of inspiration. When teaching the texts, the focus should be on the overall content, and an analysis of the usage of common words and phrases should be provided. It is important to prevent overemphasis on language points while neglecting the overall content, as well as to avoid focusing too much on the content while ignoring language foundation training. The definitions of new words are presented in both English and Chinese. Generally, English definitions are used as much as possible, supplemented with Chinese annotations when necessary; where English explanations are insufficient, direct Chinese definitions are provided.
