Through the incident of his uncle's murder, he learned his uncle's teaching that "[great power comes with great responsibility]," and thus devoted himself to the cause of fighting crime and maintaining justice. Norman Osborn is a major businessman and scientist in New York. When he discovered that Peter was bitten by the spider from his own Oz gene experiment and gained superpowers, he decided to inject Oz into his own body, hoping to also obtain superpowers. However, things did not go as planned. The experiment failed, and he himself turned into the insane "[Green Goblin]," not only destroying his own house and wife but also rampaging through Peter's school, causing chaos. At this point, Peter disguised himself as Spider-Man and engaged in a fierce battle with the Green Goblin, defeating him and protecting his classmates and school. In this episode, the defeated Green Goblin reappears. Unwilling to accept his failure, he attempts to harm Peter's family, kidnapping Peter's girlfriend Mary Jane. Peter quickly arrives and engages in a fierce battle with the Green Goblin, rescuing Mary Jane. With Harry's help, Peter once again defeats the Green Goblin.
