Features: In the world's art gallery, people often focus on the grand and majestic traditional arts, while the broader folk and folkloric arts receive relatively less attention. Of course, this may be due to reverence and pursuit of mainstream art. From the perspective of art development, the traditional art of any region or ethnic group is closely related to its folk art. The formation of traditional art in many countries is largely influenced by folk art, and some traditional arts have evolved through the integration of folk art. For example, the blue-and-white patterns in Chinese ceramics, the character designs in Japanese ukiyo-e art, the Islamic art of the Middle East, and the woodcarving art of Africa all embody strong folkloric characteristics. From this, we can see the individuality and commonality between folk and folkloric arts and traditional art. In this work, we have selected several representative graphic sets, such as the beautiful art of the Native Americans, the art of the Inuit living in the Arctic, as well as the folk art of India and Thailand in Asia. Additionally, there are the art of indigenous peoples in Oceania. The works created by artists in these regions indeed possess highly typical ethnic characteristics and have long been praised by artists worldwide. Therefore, the author believes it is very necessary to incorporate their timeless masterpieces into our modern design works, thereby enriching and inheriting these excellent artistic treasures.
