In Og Mandino's book The Greatest Salesman in the World, the story of a young shepherd boy named Hafif is told. He was fortunate enough to receive ten scrolls from his master. By practicing the success secrets taught in the scrolls, he worked hard to start a business and eventually became the greatest salesman in the world, building an enormous commercial empire.
This book, however, narrates a story older and more mysterious than the Scroll. In his later years, Hafif, under divine guidance, went in search of a mysterious iron chest containing a success formula far more powerful than the Scroll. Murkinni, a descendant of the royal family who was being hunted by enemies, endured great hardships to find Hafif, hoping to follow him. To aid the disaster victims after a heavy snowfall, Hafif entrusted Murkinni with a task: to extract three million gold coins from the three major regions of his commercial empire. Murkinni resisted the temptation of beauty, endured the humiliation of superhuman beings, and evaded the pursuit of killers, ultimately completing the mission successfully.
On his way back, Murkinni accidentally saved an old man being chased by a group of young people. It turned out that the old man was the great wizard Gerdora, sent by the divine to find the successor of the iron chest. After more than half a century of searching, Gerdora finally found Murkinni—the one chosen by the divine as the successor of the iron chest. Under Hafif's guidance, Murkinni rigorously practiced the ten success secrets within the iron chest and, in the end, became a salesman even greater than Hafif.
Countless people regard this book as the "Bible of Motivation." Whether you are discouraged or successful, this book will be your faithful friend, always accompanying you, supporting you, giving you courage and hope.
