What is this disease? Grinning and squinting hard.

Patient's question:

Dear Professor, my child is nine months old. A month ago, he started experiencing chills, grimacing, staring hard with outstretched arms. Head CT and dynamic EEG were normal, but blood calcium and alkaline phosphatase levels were high. Blood tests showed mild anemia, so we are supplementing with iron, calcium, and cod liver oil. His condition improved a few days ago but has worsened again now. What could be the cause? Can we supplement with zinc?
First follow-up question: Dear Professor, my child does not have a fever but is experiencing these symptoms.

Doctor's answer:

Hello: Are you having a fever? Your symptoms may be a clinical manifestation of high fever seizures caused by fever. I think you should not take zinc supplements because you are currently taking calcium and iron.
