Features: Each section concisely introduces the characteristics and functions of the word class, highlights the specific usage of various words, and provides example sentences for illustration. Easily confused synonyms and near-synonyms are listed separately for explanation to help readers distinguish them. At the end of the book, special exercises for each word class are provided with reference answers for self-assessment. There are over 200 irregularly conjugated verbs in German (excluding extended verbs with added affixes), which can be very complex and difficult to memorize for beginners. Additionally, some very common basic verbs have extremely strong word-building abilities, as adding different prefixes can form more than ten related verbs (known as "word families" in German), which is also a challenge in learning. Firmly mastering basic irregularly conjugated verbs and their extensions is very important and possible for those learning German, as the changes of most irregularly conjugated verbs follow certain patterns. This book is based on over 150 commonly used irregularly conjugated verbs and focuses on introducing the changes, applications, and extensions of basic verbs in various tenses and moods. The book is divided into four parts. Part 1 uses concise and intuitive charts to classify and summarize the conjugation of irregularly conjugated verbs, systematically introducing the formation and application of present tense, imperative, past tense, and second participle (also known as past participle), as well as the related passive voice and second subjunctive mood. Specific examples are provided for each type of change, tense, and mood to help readers grasp the concepts and apply them to similar situations. Part 2 selects 20 commonly used irregularly conjugated verbs and explains their usage and the usage of related verbs derived from them through example sentences. For example, if you need to check the usage of ausschreiben, you can refer to the root verb schreiben and then find ausschreiben under this entry. Part 3 consists of targeted exercises for self-assessment. Part 4 provides reference answers. Readers can find the corresponding content in previous sections by the numbered annotations after the exercise questions, such as Exercise 4 (to 3.2.1), meaning this exercise corresponds to the content of section 3.2.1. Readers can read the explanations in the front while doing the corresponding exercises in the back, thereby deepening their understanding through example sentences and repeated practice. The appendix lists all the irregularly conjugated verbs mentioned in the book in alphabetical order for reference. Based on over 150 commonly used irregularly conjugated verbs, the book focuses on introducing the changes, applications, and extensions of irregularly conjugated verbs in various tenses and moods. Special exercises with reference answers are provided at the end of the book.
