Features: The arrangement of experimental projects breaks the traditional order of mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, and optics. Instead, it follows a principle of progressing from basic experiments to comprehensive experiments and then to design experiments, ensuring a gradual and challenging learning curve that helps students adapt to the physics laboratory course. Each experiment clearly states its objectives, explains the principles in detail, introduces the instruments comprehensively, and provides well-organized steps. It also includes thought questions and exercises for students to analyze and discuss after the experiment, reinforcing their knowledge. The book is divided into five chapters. Chapter 1 systematically introduces basic knowledge of measurement and measurement errors. Chapters 2 and 3 contain 32 basic experiments, mainly covering mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and optics. Chapter 4 focuses on modern physics experiments and comprehensive experiments, with 10 experiments in total. Chapter 5 presents design experiments, with 5 groups, including a comprehensive sensor experiment. These experiments include both well-established experiments refined through long-term teaching practice and new experiments that combine physics technology with computer technology. Each experiment is independent yet progressive and complementary, forming a complete system that provides students with comprehensive and systematic training in experimental methods, techniques, and instrument usage.
