Features: The participants generally agreed that political philosophy has its own characteristics and theoretical system. However, regarding the definition of political philosophy and its disciplinary classification, the participants expressed differing views. Some scholars pointed out that political philosophy refers to a political theory system that arises under the guidance of a rigorous philosophical worldview. It is a fundamental viewpoint and methodological system concerning the general laws of human politics and political practice, and constitutes an important branch of philosophy. The theoretical construction of political philosophy is the central issue of this conference. On this topic, the participants spoke freely and expressed their diverse opinions. Some scholars believed that the construction of politics should include seven aspects: (1) the understanding of the legitimacy of political power and authority; (2) the theoretical principles underlying political institutions and policies; (3) the basis for the formation and interaction of political relationships; (4) the value basis for political behavior and choices; (5) the value basis for political concepts, attitudes, and beliefs; (6) the understanding of the legitimacy of political morality; (7) the rational justification of political goals.
