Features: Since the publication of The New Century Japanese Language Course (hereinafter referred to as The Course), it has been widely welcomed by Japanese learners in universities across the country. In less than two years, it has been printed five times to meet the needs of teachers, students, and self-learners of Japanese. The structure of this book corresponds to The Course, with each lesson as a unit, consisting of three parts: Vocabulary Application, Grammar Explanation, and Q&A.
Vocabulary Application selects new words from the lesson and supplementary words, focusing on the basic usage of each word, with two to three typical examples as a supplement to the word usage in The Course. Additionally, it provides tips on points to note when using the words in real-life situations and related vocabulary.
Grammar Explanation further extends and expands the grammar points in The Course, with a slightly broader scope and slightly higher difficulty. This aims to enable teachers to teach with confidence and fluency, and for learners to understand the full picture of the grammar points and their connections with surrounding grammar topics, allowing for broader understanding.
Q&A focuses on practical problems encountered in the teaching of second foreign Japanese, presenting answers in the form of Q&A to explain issues related to Japanese culture, vocabulary, and grammar. The content is innovative, the answers are detailed and witty, and it is believed that the benefits of this book will extend far beyond the users of The Course.
