Author Introduction
Sun Naiyuan: Born in Yantai, Shandong, graduated from the Chinese Language Department of Peking University in 1960. Professor at the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China, an expert enjoying national government special allowance. Formerly served as Director of the Chinese Language Teaching and Research Office, Director of the Official Writing Teaching and Research Office, Director of the Humanities Teaching and Research Office, and member of the Academic Committee of the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China. Professor Sun is the leading figure in the research and education of official writing for leaders at the Central Party School. Over more than 40 years, he has trained tens of thousands of official writing talents for China's government and party organs, making outstanding contributions to the professional cadre team building of the People's Republic of China. In addition to teaching, Professor Sun has been invited to conduct official writing training for deputy department-level and above leaders from central government, party, and military organs, including the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Transport, the China Textile General Administration, the Ministry of Domestic Trade, the People's Armed Police, and the Second Artillery Corps. He has compiled the records of Liu Shaoqi's lectures on official writing for students of the Marx-Lenin College at the Central Party School. He has also drafted documents for several national leaders, including Ye Jianying and Hu Yaobang. Professor Sun is a rigorous scholar with a strong foundation in both theory and practice, one of the most authoritative experts in the field of official writing for leaders in China.
