Patient's question:
For the past two and a half months, there has been yellow liquid in the child's stool. On the days when the stool is thicker, it occurs about ten times a day, and the child is also very energetic. The urine is normal. Is it possible that the child is experiencing nausea and vomiting? Isn't normal stool supposed to be soft and yellowish? The child has been like this with their bowel movements for one and a half months. Previous treatment history and effectiveness: No treatment has been sought. What kind of assistance is needed: What are the possible solutions? How to speculate about the child's nausea and vomiting.Doctor's answer:
The child's stool is yellow or golden yellow, uniform and creamy, but odorless. The frequency of bowel movements is higher, generally 2 to 4 times a day, with some reaching up to 7 to 8 times. This is known as physiological diarrhea. Parents need not worry, as this is a normal phenomenon. As the child grows to a certain age, this nausea and vomiting will disappear on its own. Children fed with milk have fewer bowel movements, usually 1 to 2 times a day, with a slightly stronger odor.
