(2) Common antihistamines include diphenhydramine 0.3 milligrams or cyproheptadine 2 milligrams. Take 2 times daily orally. Also usable is loratadine 10 milligrams. Take 1 time daily orally.
(3) For widespread acute rash, use 10% calcium gluconate 10 milliliters. Intravenous injection. Take 1 time daily. Alternatively, use prednisone 10 milligrams. Take 3 times daily orally. Gradually increase the dosage as symptoms improve and discontinue the medication.
