Features: Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a discipline that elaborates on and studies the basic theories and clinical applications of traditional Chinese medicinal herbs. It is one of the foundational subjects in TCM education. This book is based on the sixth edition of the national TCM university textbook Traditional Chinese Medicine, supplemented by relevant content from the new century's national TCM university textbook. According to the fundamental content of TCM and the teaching syllabus requirements, it adopts a writing method that emphasizes key herbs (master herbs), covers general herbs (familiar and basic herbs), and incorporates supplementary herbs (reference herbs), all while aligning perfectly with the chapter order of the textbook. It concisely and systematically outlines the "syllabus requirements" and "key points and difficulties" for each chapter.
Through "Content Summary," it highlights the essential knowledge to master in each chapter, such as chapter overviews and the performance characteristics, functions, and indications of commonly used herbs, all presented in a clear and concise manner. Additionally, "Analysis of Typical Examples" teaches learners how to correctly interpret questions and write accurate answers.
Furthermore, this book includes "Combined Exercises" in each chapter, featuring six types of questions: term definitions, fill-in-the-blanks, single-choice questions, multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions, and essay questions. Among these, single-choice questions require selecting one correct answer from five options, while multiple-choice questions require selecting two to five correct answers from five options. At the end of each chapter, "Reference Answers" are provided, which are solutions to all questions in the "Comprehensive Exercises."
The "Comprehensive Exercises" cover all the fundamental TCM content required by the teaching syllabus while appropriately emphasizing key chapters, increasing the density of coverage for important content.
