Features: Here, I also want to tell these young authors that publishing your works is to help you better understand yourself and the people around you, and to understand the true meaning of life—emotions are not the entire meaning of life. It doesn’t mean that once your works are published, your writing must necessarily be good. Rather, it is hoped that through writing, you can relax your mind and focus your energy on learning. You must know that a truly beautiful life starts now—study hard and lay a solid foundation for knowledge.
The roles in society are diverse: parents work hard, teachers educate and nurture, and your role is to be a student—studying hard is your primary responsibility. Think about it: If someone cannot even fulfill their basic responsibilities, how can they bear emotional responsibilities? Under the golden sunlight, you must not let your immature thoughts be burned by the sun of emotions. You need the nourishment of knowledge, the watering of raindrops, and true emotional care. And this care comes from parents, teachers, and classmates who are well-rounded in intellect, morality, and physical fitness. Believe me, I am willing to be a friend to young people everywhere.
There are already many books published in the category of campus literature. In terms of content, most of them reflect the emotional issues young people face at school, at home, and in society. In fact, the emergence of these problems is inevitable in the process of growing up. That is to say, no matter what era it is, emotional issues will always arise during the growth of adolescents. Therefore, whether for educators or families, how to view this issue is extremely important. Because, if young people are not scientifically guided to understand and comprehend emotional issues, helping them move beyond immature emotional confusion, it will inevitably lead to more adverse negative effects.
Based on this understanding, we have named this series "Golden Sunshine Album." We hope that young friends will find joy in growth through reading and discover the true essence of life through reflection. It is undeniable that not all the manuscripts included in the book are outstanding, but why were they included? I believe that these articles are mostly authentic, without the overly embellished traces of adult writing. Some may ask, won’t this encourage young people to imitate such writing styles? I don’t think so. Because I believe that young people have the ability to understand and discern right from wrong. The reason we edit and publish their articles is to tell them what makes a good article and what makes a bad one.
Under the golden sunlight, we are all busy and bustling—why can’t we give them some space for imagination, letting them imagine their own future paths? I think that providing them with a platform for imagination and creativity is a good thing. However, on this platform, we must guide and help them, enabling them to move beyond emotional, bravely face the pressures of life, relax themselves, understand themselves, and focus their energy on learning.
