1. Speaking the Truth: It has been quite amusing recently to hear several unfounded rumors about me, such as my connection with the Xia-Shang-Zhou Stratum Project. Some articles in this issue are related to this. I take this opportunity to reiterate here: My evaluation of the Xia-Shang-Zhou Stratum Project should be based on the article "A cacophony of opinions on the stratum project" included in this issue.
2. Between Two Cultures: There has been a recent debate about whether individuals outside the scientific community, such as humanities scholars, have the qualification to discuss, study, or question science. From common sense and reason, the answer is undoubtedly yes. Most of the articles in this issue are related to this debate, with many of them being dialogues between friends.
3. Love for Books · Reading · Watching DVDs: The content in this issue is relatively heartwarming, mainly consisting of stories about books and reading shared by myself and friends who love books, as well as some reflections on reading and watching DVDs. Through these articles, one can also glimpse a certain aspect of my life.
4. Leisure Talks at the Tea House: The "Five People's Tea House" is a section in the Science Times·Reading Weekly, managed by a lovely female editor. They are gentle and tolerant, allowing us to ramble and chat freely. This issue features my column articles from that tea house.
