Features: These are a group of people who make a living primarily by performing traditional opera in the wilderness. Their presence is nearly impossible to be seen on the time slots of major television channels, and they rarely have the opportunity to perform on the stages of theaters in big cities. Without theater critics praising and supporting their artistic activities, they even find themselves confused about the future prospects of their profession. However, these individuals who carry out their professional activities in the wilderness bring joy to many people. They genuinely love their work because it is "their own thing." Independent photographer Tian Chuan presents their "Work and Days" through authentic images and text, allowing us to truly feel the texture of life of this group of people living in this way. We also sense how the blood of a national culture flows in some places among some people in some way.
