Previous treatment history and effectiveness: The baby was diagnosed with bronchitis, but the medication didn't seem to work well.
What kind of help is needed: The doctor prescribed Acetyltetracycline Granules, but I didn't understand the instructions! For a 13-month-old baby, how many times a day should they take it, and is one bag considered one dose?

Doctor's answer:

The child has bronchitis, and I feel that cephalosporin anti-inflammatory drugs work much better. We often use cefixime granules for oral suspension, combined with calibavirin, plus lung-cleaning and expectorant medications. Glycythiamine granules are taken according to body weight at a dose of 25-50 mg/kg per day, divided into 3-4 doses. The treatment duration is 7-14 days.
If the baby weighs 10 kilograms (which is 20 jin), they would take 250 mg to 500 mg per day, which is the maximum total amount for the day. The 250 mg or 500 mg dose should be divided into 3 to 4 doses, with one bag taken each time. Taking three times a day is sufficient, as long as it falls within this range.
