Features: Beijing Life Map Atlas. Since its release, the "21st Century Beijing Life Map Atlas" has been deeply loved by readers. For years, it has consistently ranked first among similar books in various book sales charts and has often received care and suggestions from many enthusiastic readers. We sincerely thank our readers for their concern and support. To adapt to the rapid development of the capital city of Beijing and meet the practical needs of our readers, we have completely revised the "New Edition Beijing Life Map Atlas" based on the original version. It has the following three major features:
(1) Further updated data. After nearly 100 days of effort, we traversed the areas within and outside Beijing's fifth ring and the 10 suburban counties and cities. We conducted a comprehensive investigation, verification, and update of the original atlas content. The map layouts of suburban counties and cities and the original half-page maps have been doubled in size, making them clearer and easier to read.
(2) Expanded coverage. The new map extends north to the new residential area of Huilongguan and south to the southern end of the new fifth ring road, encompassing the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.
(3) More practical content.
1. Added 8 double-page spreads of "Beijing Urban Transportation and Tourism Maps," including various bus, subway, and suburban rail lines, terminal stations, most stops along the routes, and overpasses. The maps also indicate major scenic spots, former residences of famous figures, museums, exhibition halls, libraries, and government offices above the street-level, providing richer and more practical information for travel, business, leisure, visiting friends, entertainment, fitness, tourism, and vacationing.
2. Special indication of 130 major subway and bus transfer maps, showing the line numbers and their positions at stations, making it easier for travelers to take and transfer buses.
However, Beijing changes too rapidly, and the revision workload is indeed substantial. Even with a thousand times more effort, the map always lags behind actual changes on the ground, and errors and omissions are inevitable. We sincerely ask for your understanding and corrections.
