Features: The original "Great Learning" was an article, but Zhu Xi believed there were missing or incorrect sections, so he rearranged and supplemented them, reed, and believed that the first part was the "text" (jīng), which recorded Confucius's meaning by Zengzi. The following ten sections were the "commentary" (zhuàn), explaining the meaning of the text and recorded by Zengzi's disciples to convey Zengzi's intent. Due to this revision, later generations called it the "Great Learning of Returning to the Origin" (Zhìběn Dàxué), which differs significantly in content from the original "Ancient Text Great Learning." The Great Learning originally came from the "Small Dai's Book of Rites" (Xia Dai Liji), widely recognized as one of the important classics of Confucianism, but its author remains uncertain and cannot be traced in detail.
