Features: The Anecdotes of the Ancient Spring Wind Pavilion was originally a serialized column in the Supplement of the Xinsheng Daily in Taiwan from 1958 to 1969. Upon request from readers, it was compiled into a book and republished twice. The Xinsheng Daily Press re-edited it into nineteen volumes, which garnered immense popularity upon release, making it highly sought after at the time. A meticulous reader, after comparing (clippings) collected over ten years, discovered twenty-two missing entries. They sent them to the publisher, who was overjoyed and immediately added a supplementary volume, bringing the total to twenty. In later years, Zhongwen Book Company reorganized the book, revised the layout and text, and published a new edition of thirty-two volumes. They also added notes and annotations for obscure characters and terms to facilitate modern readership.
