The author has been engaged in research on electromagnetic wave theory for over 30 years. In recent years, the author has completed multiple research projects with support from the National Science Foundation of the United States, the U.S. Navy and Army Research Institutes, IBM, and other organizations. Some of the project results have been incorporated into this book. The distinctive feature of this book is the establishment of a unified macroscopic electromagnetic wave theory that complies with the principles of special relativity. Additionally, it introduces a new fundamental unit for spatial frequency.
The second volume includes: scattering of electromagnetic waves by spheres, cylinders, rough surfaces, and irregular objects; the consistency of Maxwell's equations with special relativity. The second volume of this book can serve as a textbook or reference for master's and doctoral students in electronic and information-related fields at universities, as well as for relevant engineering professionals.
