The end users of the database can construct simple and practical management information systems using these tools and wizards without programming, fully demonstrating the convenience, flexibility, ease of learning, and simplicity of Access database application development. It serves as an introductory foundation for database application and development. Chapters 8–10 are the advanced sections of database application and development. Chapter 8 introduces how to optimize and manage Access databases, upgrade Access to SQL Server, achieve data exchange and sharing, and construct client/server application systems. Chapter 9 briefly introduces the VBA programming language. Chapter 10 comprehensively explains the development and design steps and methods of database application systems using a university student comprehensive management information system as an application example. Access allows you to quickly construct client/server application systems of a certain scale, relatively complex, and powerful functionality.
