This book collects his lecture notes and scattered historical manuscripts from his teaching career, marking the first time they are published. In accordance with his wishes, the entire book is printed in traditional Chinese characters in vertical columns, with names of people, places, and books not marked with symbols. Generally, standard characters are used, while a few variant characters are retained. Professor Chen Yinque's classical poems are of the highest quality both in quantity and artistic value. This book includes over 150 of his poems. The collection Dunhuang Zilixi contains seven Dunhuang manuscript copies from Paris, London, and the Pelliot collection, including Wei Zhuang's Qinfu Yinyan, Yunyao Jiacu (thirty songs), Jibu Ge, Focu (three pieces), Licu (three pieces), Xiaocu (three pieces), and one volume of Soushenji. Professor Chen Yinque once annotated the Qinfu Yinyan and Yunyao Jiacu. In 1936, he published Reading Qinfu Yinyan (Tsinghua Journal, Vol. 11, No. 4). In 1940, he further revised and published A Critical Edition of Wei Zhuang's Qinfu Yinyan (self-published in Kunming, titled A Critical Edition of Qinfu Yinyan). In 1950, he wrote Supplementary Corrections to the Old Manuscript of A Critical Edition of Qinfu Yinyan (Lingnan Journal, Vol. 12, No. 2). These were later compiled under the title A Critical Edition of Wei Zhuang's Qinfu Yinyan. In his research on the history of the Sui and Tang dynasties, Professor Chen Yinque extensively collected Tang Dynasty notes, novels, and poetry. His works such as A Critical Edition of Yuan Bai's Poetry, On Regeneration in Paradise, and Biography of Liu Shi can be considered his three representative works, uniquely combining literature and history through poetry and prose.
