Title: "Practice Books for Math"
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-06-01
Features: This series of books is published in accordance with the new national education curriculum standards for primary and secondary schools issued by the Ministry of Education of China, and is designed to complement the new edition of the six-year primary school curriculum in Beijing. To help students strengthen their foundational knowledge and basic skills, facilitate parents in providing effective guidance for their children's studies, and assist teachers in aligning their teaching plans and progress with classroom teaching practices, we have specially invited experienced teachers from Beijing—those with many years of teaching and research experience, a deep understanding of primary school teaching methods, and a grasp of current educational reform principles—to meticulously compile this series of practice books.
This series consists of 24 books, divided into upper and lower volumes for each academic year. The books have the following features:
1. They are compatible with the new edition of the six-year primary school textbook in Beijing and the newly compiled parent guidance series published by our press, including "Practice Books for Chinese" and "Practice Books for Math." Through these resources, students can receive multi-angle, comprehensive, time-efficient, and effective reinforcement training.
2. Based on the timeless teaching principle of "reviewing the old to learn the new, progressing step by step," the books emphasize the training of foundational knowledge and basic skills, focusing on key and challenging areas while providing hints and guidance for these concepts. The answer key includes explanations and analyses of typical problems.
3. They aim to cultivate students' analytical and thinking abilities, striving for one problem to serve multiple purposes, broaden their thinking, and enhance their ability to comprehensively apply foundational knowledge.
4. The practice methods are flexible and diverse. Each lesson in the books includes exercises, which are categorized as basic, intermediate, and slightly more challenging, progressing from simple to complex. Each unit concludes with a self-assessment test, and there is also a comprehensive final self-assessment test. Partial answers to exercises are provided.
Our goal is to enable students to review, consolidate, and comprehensively apply their learned knowledge of Chinese and math through various forms of practice. By doing so, they can initially grasp the general principles of using language and mathematics, lay a solid foundation for reading, writing, and mathematical calculation skills, and significantly improve their academic performance.
