Features: The core of this book naturally consists of chapters on cryptographic protocols, technologies, and algorithms. The author has collected a vast number of examples of public-key and private-key cryptographic systems, covering almost all publicly published practical cryptographic algorithms. They are categorized and reviewed one by one. Among them, the analysis and summary of key management techniques and algorithms in cryptographic technology are thorough and comprehensive. The book provides a real and systematic introduction to cryptography and a comprehensive list of references in the field. The book is divided into four parts: first, it defines multiple terms in cryptography, introduces the development and background of cryptography, describes various protocols ranging from simple to complex, discusses cryptographic technology in detail, and on this basis, lists more than ten algorithms such as DES, IDEA, RSA, DSA, along with multiple application examples, providing source code listings for the algorithms. The content of the book is extensive and authoritative, with great practical value. Since its publication, it has been highly praised by industry experts and is a rare and valuable book for both professionals and non-professionals dedicated to cryptographic research.
