Features: This book is a learning guide and answer key for the textbook "Newly Edited C Language Programming" (authored by Guo Jizhan). C language is a modern computer language that has been rapidly promoted and used domestically and internationally in recent years. C language is rich in functions, strong in expression, flexible and convenient in use, widely applicable, highly efficient in target programs, and portability. It combines the advantages of high-level languages with many characteristics of low-level languages, making it particularly suitable for writing system software. It has become a compulsory course for undergraduate and college students and the preferred language for self-learners of computer science. However, C language involves complex concepts and numerous rules, with its flexibility and arbitrary nature making it difficult for beginners to understand its specifications and prone to errors. We believe that learning C not only requires a good textbook but also a learning guide and answer key. Therefore, while writing "Newly Edited C Language Programming," we also compiled this book to achieve mutual complementarity. The book follows the 14 chapters of the original text, with each chapter divided into two parts. The first part is "Chapter Requirements and Mastery," including learning objectives, main content, key points and difficulties, and precautions. The second part is the "Reference Answers to Exercises," including fill-in-the-blank questions, multiple-choice questions, error correction questions, and programming questions (the first three types of questions are selected according to the exam question format). Some chapters also include discussion questions. The fill-in-the-blank questions often provide explanations for the answers; the multiple-choice questions all include reasons for the correct answers and analyses of incorrect answers (the latter is often more important); programming questions include key point analysis, execution results, and detailed comments on key statements. Some questions also provide alternative approaches and multiple solutions. The error correction questions correct each mistake and explain the reasoning behind it. Additionally, this book includes Chapter 15 on Turbo C hands-on operations, covering the installation of Turbo C, the integrated environment, and running and debugging programs. The figure numbers in the book are consistent with the textbook and are not continuous. Computer language is a highly practical discipline, and learning computer languages requires a combination of theory and practice. The key to mastering it lies in thinking and hands-on programming and hands-on operations. We hope readers use this book correctly, carefully working through each question without rushing to look at the answers. More importantly, do not be satisfied with just typing the programs provided in the book—instead, write your own programs. Start with the simplest exercises, otherwise, it will become increasingly difficult to get started as you progress. After completing each question, take a moment to reflect: What does this question demonstrate? What are the key points? What should be noted? If it is a programming question, consider whether the program can be further improved, optimized, or expanded. Asking and solving problems yourself is the best way to improve your programming skills. This book was collectively reviewed and revised by all members of the Computer Teaching and Research Office of Langfang Military Missile College in Hebei Province, and we sincerely thank them for their many suggestions. Due to the limited level of the authors and the urgency of the schedule, shortcomings and errors are inevitable. We kindly request criticism and corrections from experts and readers.
This book is a learning guide and answer key for the textbook "Newly Edited C Language Programming" (authored by Guo Jizhan). The first 14 chapters consist of two parts: "Chapter Requirements and Mastery" and "Reference Answers to Exercises." The former includes learning objectives, main content, key points and difficulties, and precautions, while the latter includes fill-in-the-blank questions, multiple-choice questions, error correction questions, programming questions, and discussion questions, totaling approximately 340 questions. Chapter 15 is dedicated to Turbo C hands-on operations, covering the installation of Turbo C, the integrated environment, and running and debugging programs. This book is rich in content, well-organized, concise, and highly practical, making it an excellent reference material for learning C language and hands-on practice. It is suitable for use by university teachers and students, as well as self-learners.
