Is the baby's vomiting related to changing the formula?

Patient's question:

A baby born on December 12th, drank formula milk for the first six days after birth. Then, once breastfeeding started, they began drinking breast milk. At 16 days old, I noticed there wasn't much milk at night, so I gave them cow's milk to drink. They finished 80 milliliters, and later vomited three times, spitting out most of it. We took them to the hospital, and the doctor prescribed probiotics. For the next few days, I only fed them breast milk, and they vomited only once, but not much. Today afternoon, I noticed there wasn't much milk again, so I gave them 70 milliliters of cow's milk to drink. They slept for a while, but then vomited a lot. I want to ask, what could be the reason? Is it because of the cow's milk?
