Zhong Deong's Urban Life Comic Series -- The Girls (3)

Author: Zhu Degong

Publish Date: 1999-03-01
Features: Zhu Degong's "The Bitter Girls" is exceptionally well-drawn. Although it focuses on women, it covers a wide range of topics, filled with humor and wit. It pokes fun at marriage, the "playful" women, the embarrassing dynamics of gender relationships, and the humorous portrayal of the mother-in-law. Each panel is unique, brimming with fun. The intelligence and cleverness hidden within, along with a touch of melancholic reflection on life, leave a lingering aftertaste even after the laughter fades.
