How to treat a one-month-old baby with a gas bubble

Patient's question:

I am 36 years old this year, and recently I have been feeling unwell. During the day, I sometimes feel dizzy, and it has also affected my work. I can't sleep at night, and the medicine I took doesn't seem to work well. How should I treat the gas cyst of a one-month-old baby?

Doctor's answer:

It's a hernia. The child will need surgery to fix it when they grow older. Within the first year of life, some children's "air eggs" (hernias) can heal on their own, provided they don't become strangulated. Strangulation means the air egg suddenly becomes enlarged, hard, and painful, making recovery difficult and potentially causing serious problems. In such cases, the child needs to be taken to the hospital for examination.
If the child has indigestion, attention should be paid to their diet. When introducing solid foods, start with thin textures and gradually increase the consistency and quantity. Avoid greasy foods! Eat easily digestible foods! Drink plenty of water! Give the child some pediatric star tea!
