Introduction to Spanish and Spanish American Poetry

Author: Zhao Zhenjiang
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2002-12-01
Features: This book is a summary of the author's recent teaching and research, divided into three parts: Part I is on the meter of Spanish poetry, and Parts II and III are, respectively, concise histories of Spanish and Spanish American poetry. Part I is an introductory overview, written based on several relevant original works, aiming to give readers a general understanding of the meter of Spanish poetry, which may also provide some reference for friends in China's poetry creation circle. The content of Parts II and III is accumulated from the author's teaching practice. The Spanish American poetry section is relatively detailed, while the Spanish poetry section is only a "bird's-eye" scan, because the author has been teaching Latin American literary history for a longer time, and it is absolutely not because Spanish poetry is less important.
