It is also based on the lecture notes of the doctoral English writing course taught by the editor at Tsinghua University for many years. The textbook is divided into ten chapters, each with five parts: Basic Writing Skills, After-Class Writing Guidance, Online Writing, Introduction and Examples of Common Writing Exams, and Collaborative Writing Projects and Strategies. This book combines basic writing examples with case analyses of writing by Tsinghua University graduate students, and is used in conjunction with the "Foreign Language Self-Learning Writing Website" specifically developed for this course. Additional writing exercises and more student writing examples will be regularly expanded to provide more assistance for instructors using this textbook, as well as practical and concise guidance for the thesis writing of master's and doctoral students.
