Features: This book has two main features: First, it combines theory with practice. Each participant in the study possesses a certain theoretical foundation and is a senior official with rich practical experience. During this learning session, they received systematic training in public administration knowledge, and as a result, the papers they wrote demonstrated a strong connection between theory and practice in both topic selection and analysis. Second, it involves a comparison between China and the UK. During their study and observation at the University of Oxford in the UK, the participants had direct contact with British scholars and civil servants, as well as visited UK government departments. Therefore, when writing their papers, most of them chose a unique perspective—drawing on the successful experiences of the UK and combining them with China's approach to address some existing issues in public management, achieving the goal of "taking the strengths of others to complement one's own weaknesses."
