The book has the following main features:
First, in accordance with the requirements of the Education Revitalization Plan for the 21st Century promulgated by the Ministry of Education, the book has made active efforts to cultivate and train a group of high-level, innovative accounting and management talents. In the discussions of each chapter, in addition to explaining the recognition, measurement, recording, and disclosure of accounting transactions and events, it also emphasizes the relationship between accounting information and management and decision-making, consciously cultivating readers' ability to analyze and resolve financial accounting issues.
Second, the book is guided by the objectives of financial accounting, with the generation of external financial reports as the main thread, based on the four fundamental accounting assumptions and the six elements of accounting. After the first chapter explains the objectives and basic principles of financial accounting, the subsequent chapters are systematically and clearly explained in the order of the presentation of the accounting elements in the balance sheet and income statement. On this basis, the final chapter explains the preparation and analysis of financial accounting reports.
Third, the book primarily focuses on providing accounting information for external use while also catering to the needs of internal business management. Relevant chapters can combine the production characteristics of different enterprises to discuss the role that financial accounting should play in internal business management.
