Features: This dictionary is compiled based on the "Common Characters List of Modern Chinese" edited by the Character Section of the State Language and Character Working Committee in 1986-1987, selecting and including 5,836 common characters. The dictionary lists 178 radicals, arranged in order of the number of strokes, with fewer strokes listed first and more strokes listed later. For radicals with the same number of strokes, they are arranged in the order of the starting stroke. Characters belonging to the same radical are arranged in order of the number of strokes outside the radical, with fewer strokes listed first and more strokes listed later. After each character entry, there are Pinyin and Tonal marks. To help readers understand and master the writing rules of Chinese characters, each character entry includes stroke order. Each character entry provides simple and clear explanations of character meanings. If a character has multiple meanings, they are explained separately. To expand readers' vocabulary, each character entry includes a list of common words for reference in writing or composition.
