Patient's question:
9-year-old boy, starting in early March, stomach painDoctor's answer:
Appendicitis is an acute inflammation of the mesenteric lymph nodes. Treatment requires antibiotic therapy, with commonly used drugs including penicillin-based medications such as penicillin or amoxicillin, or cephalosporin drugs. If the abdominal pain is severe, antispasmodic and analgesic medications such as 654-2 or belladonna tablets can be added. The treatment can also be combined with abdominal heat application.
