This includes understanding and researching contemporary world trends. Since contemporary world trends are intricate and diverse, this book discusses only a part of them—the Western trends that have a significant influence in the contemporary world and have affected China to varying degrees in different ways, including economic, political, social, philosophical, and Western Marxism, among others.
