Features: This book is divided into three parts with a total of 16 chapters, structured as follows:
Chapter 1 is an introduction, which primarily elaborates on the meaning, emergence, and development of international trade, as well as some basic concepts involved in international trade studies.
Chapters 2 to 7 mainly introduce international trade theories and policies. Among them, Chapter 2 covers traditional international trade theories, Chapter 3 introduces modern international trade theories. Chapter 4 discusses three different trade strategies: the primary product export strategy, the import substitution strategy, and the export substitution strategy. Chapter 5 introduces state measures in international trade. Chapters 6 and 7 respectively cover the knowledge of trade regionalization, GATT, and WTO.
Chapters 8 to 16 mainly introduce international trade practices. This section discusses the operational process of the exchange of goods and services between countries from a practical perspective, taking the traditional commodity import and export trade contracts as the main thread. It elaborates around the relevant terms in the contracts, introduces the main trade methods, and also covers the knowledge and legal environment of this new trade method, e-commerce.
