Features: Non-destructive testing method standards are the basis for implementing inspections, and their standardization is a crucial guarantee for obtaining accurate and reliable test results and properly evaluating product quality. With the development of industry and science and technology in China, and in accordance with the "Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China" as well as new policies and guidelines for standardization work, the revision and development of non-destructive testing method standards for metal materials have progressed rapidly in recent years. A prominent feature is that they are basically based on international standards and advanced foreign standards. To enable relevant departments and personnel in China to promptly understand, master, and implement these new standards, we have compiled the "Standards Collection of Non-Destructive Testing Methods for Metal Materials." This collection includes 52 non-destructive testing method standards for metal materials approved before the end of September 2002, of which 46 are national standards and 6 are industry standards. The content covers the current new non-destructive testing method standards for metal materials and metallurgical products in China, as well as some other relevant standards. A comparison table of current standards and superseded standards is appended at the end of the book.
