With the continuous development of various infrastructure projects in our country, the national economy has been rapidly growing. However, the accompanying environmental pollution issues have become increasingly severe. They pose a serious threat to people's health and survival and have drawn widespread attention from all sectors of society. To meet the demand of environmental protection workers and related personnel for environmental protection standards, China Standard Press published the series "Annual Compilation of Chinese Environmental Protection Standards" around 2000. This series includes: "Annual Compilation of Chinese Environmental Protection Standards: Environmental Quality and Pollutant Discharge," "Annual Compilation of Chinese Environmental Protection Standards: Water Quality Analysis Methods," "Annual Compilation of Chinese Environmental Protection Standards: Air Quality Analysis Methods," "Annual Compilation of Chinese Environmental Protection Standards: Emission, Wastewater, and Waste Analysis Methods," "Annual Compilation of Chinese Environmental Protection Standards: Noise Measurement," "Annual Compilation of Chinese Environmental Protection Standards: Determination Methods for Radioactive Substances," and "Annual Compilation of Chinese Environmental Protection Standards: Comprehensive Environmental Protection." To meet the needs of readers and environmental protection work, as well as to ensure the continuity and completeness of the materials, we have collected environmental national standards and industry standards published from the end of 2000 to the end of July 2002 and compiled them into this book. This book includes 34 national standards and 36 industry standards. All the standards included in this book are current and valid.
