Features: The full title of "Shimen Sòng" (The Ode to Yang Mengwen) is "Ode to Yang Mengwen, the Vice Director of Record Keeping" (). It is also known as "Ode to Yang Mengwen." In the fourth year of the Yongping era of Emperor Ming of the Eastern Han Dynasty (61 AD), due to the difficult and treacherous nature of the Ziwuguo road, Yang Mengwen, the Vice Director of Record Keeping at the time, petitioned Emperor Ming to have the stone gate carved. To celebrate this achievement, the ode was engraved on the cliff walls of the Shimen in the southeastern Baoxia Valley, Baocheng County, Shaanxi, in the eleventh month of the Jianhe era of the Eastern Han Dynasty.
