National Standard Replaced and Obsolete Catalogue. 2003: Obsolete Catalogue. 2003

Features: In various national standard information publications, it is generally possible to find a replacement standard by referencing the current standard, whereas it is often difficult to find the current standard by referencing a replaced standard. This is because replacement standards and current standards may not have the same number; some national standards have been declared obsolete, yet there is no record of them in current national standard information publications, leaving readers uncertain whether the standard has been replaced or abolished. With the continuous formulation and revision of national standards, we have revised the 2001 edition of the "Directory of Replacement and Abolished National Standards" for readers to query and use national standards. In this revision, we have continued to collect cases where industry standards replace national standards, providing further references for readers to stay updated on the replacement and abolition of national standards. This directory collects 6,948 replaced national standards, 2,627 industry standards replacing national standards, and 527 abolished standards as of the end of 2002. The book is divided into six parts: Part 1: Directory of Replacement of National Standards by National Standards; Part 2: Directory of Partial Replacement of National Standards by Industry Standards; Part 3: Directory of Abolished National Standards; Part 4: Index of Replaced National Standards; Part 5: Index of Current National Standards; Part 6: Index of Current Industry Standards.
