However, the editors and participants of this book explicitly warn readers: the so-called "independence" of some "independent films" and "independent producers" today has lost the meaning of the "independent spirit" in the past. Only by respecting your own heart and approaching what you see with your own perspectives and persistence can you truly possess the valuable "independent spirit."
