How to Use Medication for Baby Eczema (Advertisement)

Patient's question:

I used Shengxiangtang Zhenkangbao for five days when my baby got milk rash, and it basically healed. I would like to ask the doctor how much longer I need to use this ointment?
The questions I most want to ask the doctor are:
1. How was this hand rash caused?
2. Should I avoid anything for the baby?
3. Shengxiangtang Zhenkangbao has been very effective, so I would like to ask if using this type of ointment can cure it completely?
Thank you in advance for helping me with these questions.

Doctor's answer:

Eczema is a manifestation of an infant's allergic constitution, commonly seen in artificially fed babies. The onset of infantile eczema is mostly related to poor gastrointestinal digestion capacity in infants. As they grow older, their gastrointestinal function gradually improves, digestion ability strengthens, and their diet becomes more diverse. Most cases of infantile eczema gradually heal after the age of one and do not recur.
For children prone to eczema, medication treatment involves the use of anti-allergic creams, which contain a certain amount of hormones and should not be used long-term. Additionally, there is currently no effective treatment for eczema.
Daily care should be noted: avoid wearing too many clothes and opt for cotton garments. When bathing and washing faces, use lukewarm water and avoid using soaps. If the eczema is severe, some eczema cream can be applied.
