Should newborn babies receive vaccinations?

Patient's question:

Is it necessary to give newborn babies vaccinations? How long do they need to be vaccinated? The baby is two months old and has only been vaccinated once since birth, just when it was born. On April 18th, it got vaccinated, and it was a month apart. Now, on June 18th, if it gets vaccinated, what will happen? Please ask the doctor if there are any effects from this.

Doctor's answer:

Within 24 hours of birth, the hepatitis B vaccine and BCG vaccine should be administered. Continue receiving the hepatitis B vaccine at one month and six months.
Advice:
- From February to April, take the oral polio drops.
- From March to May, receive the DTP vaccine.
- In August, receive the measles vaccine.
- At 1.5 to 2 years old, receive the DTP vaccine (booster) and (part of) the oral polio drops.
There are many factors that can cause pediatric liver disease. If a child is diagnosed with pediatric liver disease, parents need to cooperate with the doctor for timely treatment, including gastric decompression, and develop good hygiene habits. The child should have a balanced diet and avoid stimulating and cold foods.
