Features: Expanding new artistic realms and continuously deepening the spiritual connotation; focusing on the uniqueness and diversity of composition, fully leveraging the immense power of formal aesthetics; diligently refining brushwork and ink techniques to create new skills; pursuing the beauty of artistic conception, form, and brushwork—the "three beauties" of landscape painting—this is my manifesto for landscape painting. Traditional Chinese landscape paintings feature majestic and vast mountains, lush and towering peaks, but more often than not, they depict serene and sparse valleys, small bridges over flowing streams, tranquility, leisure, and elegance, akin to pastoral poetry. The ancients cherished the mountains and forests, "The benevolent love mountains, the wise love water," enjoying the tranquility of nature to cultivate their minds and spirits, pursuing the harmony of "unity between heaven and man." For example, more directly and intensely expressing the land that nurtured me, its profound sense of hometown and the boundless righteousness within. Another example is reflecting on history, tracing the passage of time, engaging in introspection amidst a sense of weight and vicissitudes to ease the mind; or reexamining religion, fantasizing about the universe, contemplating the living environment, and grappling with the inexplicable fear and nihilism of the end of the century. All of this compels the art of landscape painting to undergo significant development.
