Features: After spending eleven months in the womb, Chang Qing came into this world later than expected, which brought him early maturity in dealing with people and a sense of achievement at a young age. Chang Qing has a youthful name and a face that always appears somewhat naive. Although not particularly eloquent, he is very skilled at storytelling, and his hoarse voice often draws a string of laughter. Indeed, he is a master of crafting fairy tales and stories. From works like "The Bowl" and the series of still-life paintings he created later, we can see that Chang Qing has a special focus on the (items of the past), a focus that is both stubborn and mysterious. These remnants are clear, but behind them, there is always an unseen force lurking in the shadows. Thus, in "Eyeglasses," we see the long gown and the man; from "Autumn Traveling Suitcase," we deduce the wanderer of the world; and from the portrait-like still lifes, we recognize the hidden person. And when we observe Chang Qing's portraits, we are inevitably drawn into a paradox: observing objects as if observing people, and observing people as if observing objects; viewing portraits as if viewing still lifes, and viewing still lifes as if viewing portraits.
