It can be anticipated that in the coming decades, our architectural and urban development will enter a "golden age," and China will become one of the few architectural "prosperous regions" in the world. Architectural marvels will emerge in this region, and architects around the world will "wait with bated breath." Chinese architects will face an era where "circumstances create heroes," and on the vast land of China, they will have a chance to shine. The future is based on our creative achievements. Architects must create excellent works and use outstanding architectural achievements to influence the times. In this sense, we can also say that "heroes create circumstances." We place special hope in the efforts of Chinese architects because they will become the backbone of "creating the future." Contemporary China Famous Institutions Excellent Architectural Works Series is the crystallization of the relentless exploration of the Chinese architectural community and the fruit of creative accomplishments. It represents the highest level of contemporary Chinese architectural works and records the steps of the Chinese construction industry toward the world. May this series serve as a bridge connecting architecture and society, China and the world, exploration and creation, and the present and the future!
