Features: Liu Maoshan, born in 1942, male, native of Suzhou, is a renowned landscape painter. He is currently a member of the China Artists Association, Vice President of Suzhou National Painting Institute, a first-class national artist, and a professor at the School of Art, Soochow University. In his early years, he studied Western painting and conducted in-depth and extensive research on the works of classical European art masters and modern impressionist paintings. Later, he switched to Chinese painting and engaged in landscape painting creation. His "Jiangnan Scenery" series is tranquil, lyrical, and uniquely distinctive. In recent years, the artist has visited the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Russia, France, Italy, and other countries multiple times, holding personal exhibitions and conducting academic exchanges. Many of his works have been published in domestic and international newspapers and magazines, receiving praise and being collected by numerous art museums and galleries. His name has been included in the International Directory of Who's Who compiled by the International Biographical Center of the United States and the Cambridge International Biographical Centre of the Commonwealth. His works are included in "The Complete Collection of Chinese Fine Arts." He has published works such as "Rongbaozhai Painting Collection (38) - Liu Maoshan's Landscapes," "Selected Landscapes of Liu Maoshan," "Modern Chinese Paintings of Liu Maoshan," "Liu Maoshan: Water Town Rhymes," "Liu Maoshan's Art Collection," "Selected Works of Liu Maoshan," "Paintings of Liu Maoshan," "Water Town Sentiments - New Works of Liu Maoshan," and "Essential Works of Contemporary Talented Painters - Liu Maoshan." In 2001, he was awarded the title of "Special Government Allowance Expert" by the State Council.
