Features: This is Xi Juan's latest work. The book depicts a modern story, but due to accommodating a "title match novel," it incorporates reincarnation. Setting aside reincarnation, it remains a decent love story. Although this series showcases the unique styles of four authors, the format of the series involves writing about a woman named Yunniang and her four transformations, as well as her romantic entanglements with several men across different dynasties. The four authors wrote the same past lives, then narrated the stories that unfold in the Sui, Tang, Northern Song, and Qing dynasties after the world changes.
Diaries served as preparation for writing, and Yunxi had the intention of continuing a novel about Yunniang. She felt that practicing writing through journaling was the best way, of course, with the actual writing to begin only when the story was fully developed. Perhaps after seeing and overthinking too much, Yunxi often found herself becoming the characters, breathing and sharing their fates. She truly didn’t know if every writer was like this.

The last day of the 20th century. After hearing too many prophecies from self-proclaimed seers about the world ending, she couldn’t help but think that if she didn’t celebrate her survival, it would be a waste. The last day of the 20th century—listening to those so-called prophets who claimed to predict the world’s end, it just wasn’t right not to celebrate that she was still alive.
