Features: The term "stepmother" is a natural existence in the late 20th century. Take the findings from Taiwan's market research, for example: out of every ten couples, two are in the process of divorcing, making a second chance at marriage a common phenomenon. Single-parent families are no longer as shocking as they were two or three decades ago. The concepts of "stepmother" and "stepfather" cannot be viewed with the same perspective as the era of Snow White. After all, there's only one poisoned apple, and it was long ago devoured by the gluttonous fool who was Snow White. As modern-day "stepchildren," if we still cling to the fantasy of being mistreated, we're simply outdated. As for marital relationships, if they're meant to be, they'll stay together; if not, they'll part ways. Enduring hardship is just finding excuses for one's own suffering. Don't always use the children as an excuse, saying you can't bear to give them a broken family. A household filled with constant cold wars and hot wars isn't necessarily warm, and problem children will still appear.
